Thread: Non-english Ratchet & Clank

I decided to make a topic, where we can discuss about all non-english dub's of Ratchet & Clank - French, German, Spanish… every one.
I'll start with Polish version, giving some examples from All 4 One ("4 Za Jednego"

I think Polish Ratchet is great. Some people don\'t like him because his voice is too old, but in my opinion, he acts great, and fit the character perfectly.
Clank is worse. In some moments, he is just OK, and in some, he is just bad. David Kaye (English Clank) is so good, because he can talk like robot, and still keep some emotions in proper times. Polish Clank just can't do any of this things.
Qwark's voice is almost perfect. It's not so good, that I would laugh just because of listening to it (as I do when I listen to Jim Ward), but it fits the character perfectly.
Nefarious was pretty good. He had some good moments, but he can't make a proper "Laaaaaaaaaaawreeeeeeeeeeeeenceeee".
I also enjoyed Cronk and Zephyr, Plumber was OK.

Since ToD there is also an awefull Dutch version. I'm just so glad that you can still install your PS3 is English. Else I had to orden an UK version, cause I'm so NOT gonna listen to this:

Well, Dutch Ratchet, Azimuth and Lawrence are actually good. Orvus and Zoni weren't terrible. Nefarious was… well, I understand why are you playing in English.

I think most of Ratchet's are good, and most of Clanks are weird (of course, not all of them. French, Italian and Spanish Clank's are good).

Yeah, the voices of Ratchet and Alister aren't the worst they could pick, but there is some really bad acting going… xP

Sure. Why would I be able to read it.. and not understand it when spoken?
I think English is a great language, but besides that. I prefer the original voices, except when the original voices are Japanese or something like that. ;P
