I've played the whole Nathan Drake collection, and never experienced weird glitches like those. Might try later

Wow, he likes classic games, too! And I guess he didn't mention any R&C game because it would make him look too biased on his creations. Understandable.

Super Metroid is the one Metroid game I don't have. I'm currently looking for a Japanese cart-only. Since the PAL and NTSC releases will cost me double digits. And I don't think it's worth that amount of cash.

But wouldn't buying a Japanese relaease means the whole game uses Japanese as the language?

Yep! But Metroid isn't very text focussed, it's all very visual.
Recently I've played the Japanese version of Dragon Age II on PS3 (Because it has all DLC on-disc). It had the English voice over, but all text was Japanese. At some point you just figure out which options are where in order. So it's… do-able.
Saw 10 Cloverfield Lane today. Great movie, a very tense and uncomfortable thriller. John Goodman (Grimroth) completely steals the show. I bring this up manily because of John Goodman and how unsettling it will be to see him as a mentor to Ratchet watching the movie next month.

Woa, I didn't know Goodman was the original voice of Sully. I've, kind of, never seen the English version of Monsters Inc.

Duh, thought you were referring to Sully from Uncharted! I also had forgotten the cast in Monsters Inc. Let's hope he'll do fine in the movie.

That would be my first thought too! And then Scully from The X-Files.

Speaking of X-flies, what a great way to end the series
