Maybe it was also on another one of my threads that took me a very long time to write but quickly derailed into off-topicness…

Hmm… how about Tachyon referring Ratchet as the "last Lombax alive"? Angela was a Lombax too, and she also lives in Solana! Was it because the game was really a remake, Tachyon not able to track her, Angela already dead, or he's just too idiotic to think there was only one Lombax left in the universe?

I think TJ didn't just think it through that much… Don't forget about Azimuth. He was living in Polaris all that time, a lot of people knew about him (Fongoids, Vullards, Vorselon), yet somehow Tachyon didn't go after him. He can travel to a different galaxy and invade it's biggest city yet doesn't bother visiting a junkyard planet he himself controls? I wouldn't say he's an idiot, he's just a victim of plot holes.

Maybe Azimuth faked his death or was undercovering as a robot or a Drophyd

Then why didn't he stay undercover in ACiT? Again, everyone seemed to know that 'Lombax rebel', even Nefarious who didn't spend that much time in Polaris already had some history with him. How come Tachyon with his paranoia didn't find him? Even the Fongoids on as (as he would say) 'primitive' planet as Quantos knew about Azimuth's wherabouts, I'm sure that if Percy pulled some strings he would easily locate him.

Perhaps, although almost everyone knew about Azimuth as you mentioned before, Tachyon thought that Azimuth either die or escaped with the Lombaxes. Or maybe Neffy didn't want to reveal Azimuth's whereabouts to Tachyon, because he had an unfinished business with him and didn't want Tachyon to get involved.
