I haven't really played much in the way of whole series, but I can say:
Ratchet and Clank - Tools of Destruction.
Jak and Daxter - Jak II Renegade, well I think Jak II, maybe Jak 3, DON'T MAKE ME CHOOSE!

mine is just plain funny!
Ratchet and Clank- A Crack in Time (it is not as good the second time, but for first playthrough this game wins)
Jak & Daxter- Jak 3 (i did not play Jak 2 right. But if i did i am sure i would have liked it better… But this game gets quite good later on so it wins (by the way i do not like races… This game is an exeption)
Resistance (funny right?)- Resistance 2 (i am like the only one in the world that like 2 better than Fall of Man!)
LittleBigPlanet- LittleBigPlanet 2 (anyone who does not agree the second is better has not played this game )
and lets go back a few years?
Rayman- Rayman 3 (yea thats right… I PLAYED RAYMAN!.. Ages ago)

wow only 4 real series (5 if Rayman counts), i need to get up and play more games
