okay, the program i use to make artwork has had something called a BEX error. I know nothing about it and the people on other forums fixed it but didnt explain how! could anyone please say if they havve experienced this problem and how they got it fixed or send me a link on how to fix it with my program? the program is called "Corel Painter Essentials 4". I've been using it for a long time and for it to just stop working like this aggrivates me (on top of the fact i recently blew the bass out of my favorite headphones emoji( ) so does anyone know what to do? i just thought id ask before having my cousin from Virginia have to come and fix it. thank you.

I may be able to help you. A BEX error can be rather dangerous when it comes to certain programs like that, I even looked online and it said that BEX errors most oftenly occur on the program Corel Painter Essentials 4. It can be caused by overuse of this program, sig complications, and more. In order to get this problem fixed, you may have to restart the program, but save all your pictures you made first. If that doesn't work, you may have to give it a rest for a while, as overusage causes this sometimes. If that doesn't work, you may have to call whatever your computer program company is and see if they can fix the problem from the other side. If all above fails, you may have to delete the program and start it over. I hope this helps.

i gave it a rest for 3 months before and now it doesnt work. could it be that a recently downloaded application is interferring with the program? it worked 3 months before, before i had downloaded my new PC game. emoji

It's quite possible, since the PC games were downloaded not long after you decided to give your program a rest, correct? A BEX Error is a like a virus within a program, so you may have to download a virus protection program that rids of BEX errors. I will continue to look for more things that can help you this. See if the above options on my other post can help you first.

If i need some help with my computer, etc. I usually call a guy that's good at it to help me.

One more, funny thing - My parents aren't so good at the electronics, so I have to help them. Really pity them:/

Try telling that to GlitchKing.. He'll figure it out! emoji

SRJSFangirlPL, I am sure after over a year the problem has either been solved or is forgotten. Try no to post in really old threads.

I don't care if the topics are old or new! I just want to say something just for a little fun to me and others. Besides, I like the old and new things, no matter what.
Did you think i'm a bit crazy with liking the old and new things? I yhink I'm notemoji.

I think you're a bit crazy period!emoji

BEX!
Ah i hate BEX!
I had a advanced image editor
before!
One day (rainy day…emoji I opened the program a great and nice popup message popped up saying:
BEX error Click the help button to send a ticket.

I clicked the help button, Guess what, They told me? They said:
BEX errors can't be fixed sorry…

And when i asked for a new copy…
Sorry can't give you a new copy we don't know what a BEX error is!

And that's the very end!

So i have checked a bit… it's hard it's a uncommon thing so the only thing i know right know is: It's a built in no harm virus…

Gotta hate it when you get some random error that no-one has ever heard of. Windows seems to be full of them.
I had one recently where windows explorer kept crashing every 15mins. Real pain but I fixed it somehow, think I turned off some service that was conflicting.

It's fine if you wanna contribute to an old discussion, as long as it's still current, and what you have to say is relevant and not pointless.

*mental facepalm*

The point is that you should only bump an old thread if it's still relevant and what you have to say is genuinely contributory.

… Mental Facepalm.. LOL!! emoji
