Thread: New Sony Handheld System

Just found this out today that Sony is now making a new handheld system codenamed NGP (Next Generation Portable) and I wanted to share this with other people. So far I heard that it will have a multi-touch screen, SIXAXIS technology just like the PS3 controller, dual thumb-sticks and Wi-Fi & 3G internet and I also heard that Uncharted, Resistance, Little Big Planet, Call of Duty and other games would be made for the system as well. Wow that sounds rather neat really cant wait to see more on this product xD and what other games end up on it too…

I don't mean to seem like a spoilsport, but I have heard that the PSP2 is just a false rumour. You could say it's a lie (as was the cake in portal??), but I might be wrong…

EDIT: just discovered that whilst the PSP2 has been rumoured for a long time, it has now been OFICIALLY announced!

if they listed all the cool new stuff without mentioning its new name or any pictures i would be happier i dont like the new style (and of the menu). I would like for it to be more basic. I like the microphone (i asume it will work unlike with PSP 3000). But really rather than all the new stuff they have done i would prefer the device to have a "PlayStation" name *sigh* and maybe rather than the pad at the back perhaps a UMBRD (Universal Media Blu Ray Disc) or maybe a simpler name? But you get the idea… A portable PS3! No fancy new stuff, just something thats already cool but portable!
