Just played this game… And this is a game NOT to be missed! Many have played, but who has finnished? If you have played this and thought lowly of it… You have not finnished it. The end… My god the end! Its just… Wow! Holy cow! I'm not saying anything but this game has pushed its way up to no.2 fav game! Overpassing LBP & Resistance! This is a game not to be missed!

I agree. Infamous is a game I got really addicted to. It's definitely my most recommended game for the PS3. Some say this is a total rip-off of Prototype (another sandbox title that's quite identical to Infamous), but in all honesty I prefer Infamous more.
Not only the game was done by the same company as the Sly Cooper franchise, but it has such a unique set up and cool power abilities. Electric abilities might have been done before, but not on a recent game console. We mostly see games these days that the main characters abilities are either guns or even more guns. 
As for Infamous 2 coming out, I think I'm not gonna buy it right away just because I want other games more than Infamous 2 like Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword and Ratchet and Clank: All 4 One for examples. I'll just wait and get it when I can afford it.

Sadly much like many others i do not have… ANY money! So my dad agrees he will hire out the ocasinal game, but only buy one on my B-Day or X-Mas 
Whose here excited about Infamous 2 coming out this Tuesday? 
Wow it's close isn't it? I am very exited indeed! I hired out inFAMOUS again on saturday and played it over and over to see what being inFAMOUS was like, getting all Blast shards, Dead Drops, preforming stunts and playing over again on Hard! Got a ton of trophies (must have gotten well past 75% and neer Platnum when… POWERCUT! While versing Kessler on Hard (nearly killing him!) it all turned off… No big deal it's not like all my trophies are gone… Turn on the PS3 go into the game (power cut lasted about a minute or two) then as it came up with the Sucker Punch thinggy and wet boom! And goes black and white and shrinks to nothing CLICK! Off goes the power! The freeky thing was the timing! Hahaha power stayed off flivking back on then off every now and then. When it came on again i wen't on and was starting the fight against Kessler again, while fighting him a throphy popped up 'Goody Two Shoes' i then knew something was very wrong! I got that ages ago for reaching Hero rank! I dared look into my Trophys to discover… My Throphys are gone! Every single one of them! Exept of course Goody Two Shoes. I then had to recollect my trophys… This is gonna take forever… My list now is:

Frequent Flyer
Electric Hobo
Drop Everything
Red Baron
True Potential
Goody Two Shoes
Good Eats
Good Riot
Evil Sphere

That is the lot! If you know your trophys well you would understand that is absolutely IMPOSSIBLE! Because i am missing trophys like Good Intentions, Good Sphere, Good Exposure and Good Train… Or at least the evil versions?
Well that kinda sucks But at least i have Hard Finnish! After playing this game like 100 times i have come to like Cole's voice and looks… Yes bald eletric man is better than eletric man with hair. And i will truly miss that. One thing i don't get about inFAMOUS 2 is that Cole has Ice Powers? I mean Eletricity and water makes him DIE! It is his greatest weekness! Because as everyone knows Water wins every time! Ice is the solid of water? So that makes no sense? I also hope the game works in the same style to the first.
Does anybody have some tips on how to get all of the Blast Shards on inFamous? I've been running around everywhere searching! I've got most of them already and I just need a few more to get platinum!

Best way to do this is to print a copy of the map, go to all the blue dots and cross them off as you either get them or find you've already got them. That's how I got them.

I know no1 has posted here in a while but since its an InFamous thread, does anyone have any thoughts on InFamous Second Son, and how many of you will be buying it, and if you are buying it, are going to straight away, or wait to hear what people say about?

I love the InFamous games, If I have a PS4 by the time its released then I will buy Second Son on release day
I almost bougt InFAMOUS 2 Special Edition for €15 today. But there 5 other games waiting for me and I don't even have the first yet.
And honestly, Second Son doesn't trigger me that much.

The powers in the game are very repetitive, but its the story of the games I also look at, even if it had exactly the same powers, id still buy it for the story.
