I think it goes somewhat like this: Ratchet and Clank, Beginning of Going Commando, Size Matters, Rest of Going Commando, Up Your Arsenal, Secret Agent Clank, Going Mobile, Deadlocked, Tools of Destruction, Quest for Booty, A Crack in Time, The Comic Books, All 4 One, Full Frontal Assault
This is assuming the PSP games and Going Mobile are canon.

Since the are not really prequels I think that they fit in with the time of release.

Size Matters in the middle of GC? Before the go to the Bogon Galaxy?
I think that Size Matters was another version of that 'heroes out of buisness' idea. I would still put it after Deadlocked.
Size Matters in the middle of GC? Before the go to the Bogon Galaxy?
No, I think Size Matters tries to fill the gap that are those 2 weeks we don't get to see in the beginning of GC, I mean they are in Clank's Apartment in the ending

But Size Matters takes place in the Bogon Galaxy. Why would they be there? Ratchet was training to be a commando for those two weeks.
And Secret Agent Clank was confirmed non-canon by Ted Price.
It's just a theory XD, but there could also be a place for Size Matters between GC and UYA. Also about that SAC thing, it could just be a Secret Agent Clank holo-vid, and all the characters were participating as a form of saying "thank you for savig Solana… for the second time" and stuff

I don't think SAC being a holo-vid is out of the question, but it definitely didn't occur in the "real world".
Anyway, I wanna say, if not the release order, than it's more likely that Size Matters takes place shortly after Up Your Arsenal as in the opening scene Clank is reading a newspaper with a picture of Ratchet wearing Aegis Mark V armor and holding the N90 Hurricane.

The order is
Ratchet & Clank
Ratchet & Clank 2
Ratchet & Clank: Up Your Arsenal
Ratchet: Deadlocked
Ratchet & Clank: Size Matters
Ratchet & Clank: Tools of Destruction
Ratchet & Clank: Quest for Booty
Ratchet & Clank: A Crack in Time
Ratchet & Clank: All 4 One
Ratchet & Clank: Full Frontal Assault
It's pretty much order of release. And Size Matters is set in Solana, because Pokitaru is in Solana, not Bogon. At the end they just go back to their apartment in Bogon.
I mean think about it, they wanted to get away from being super heroes so why go back to the Phoenix? And their home on Veldin was destroyed so why go back there? The only place they could really call home was their apartment in Bogon. After a little while they probably moved to Kerwan, where they stayed a while before Tachyon attacked.

^- that.
Ratchet & Clank doesn't really have prequels, only sequels.

Indeed. Or like Zelda. Thought I think its just the same game with all sorts of alternatives of the same characters and no time line at all.
Way less confusing!
