Yep! After 4 languages I think I've seen enough. I barely speak a word of French and German is supposed to come in time. My English is fine, I guess, but no thanks to school. What's the main spoken language in Indonesia; English or Sundanese?

Instead of the language thing, I can now spend my day doing this. I decided to work on all time internship deadlines and do something fun of my own today.

Well, people commonly speak the everyday Indonesian (not the formal), but some people who live in towns and villages speak their native language (eg. Sundanese, Javanese), or Indonesian which is mixed with their native language. The formal language is commonly used in books, newspapers, paperworks, and theses. English is not a mainly spoken language, and most people who can speak English are those who live in big cities like Jakarta.

Well.. it's more a French fluffy rabbit-cat-dog.. I don't think he'd be that useful in a mission. emoji

Ah, a poodle then? emoji

Nah, he's a Bichon Frisé mix. But doesn't have that ridiculous afro-haircut emoji

Ah, yeah. With the curly-ish tail. A co-worker has one of those, she's very sweet. emoji

Replaying the original game I actually think Mikey does a much better job for some reason, even when being kind or sad…
Seriously, JAT has nothing on him right now.

Still, JAT managed to make great performances of a lot of different takes on the character - the more goofy GC and UYA Ratchet, the more jerky Ratchet of ToD and SM, or that mature, responsible Ratchet from ACiT onwards. Mikey did a great job as Ratchet of R&C1, but I don't really see him in the other games.

Well I can't see JAT in R&C1 but they're doing it.

Look at how Ratchet acts in the trailer. Look at his design… He doesn't seem that jerky, does he?
R&C1 Ratchet =/= Movie Ratchet
Future Ratchet = Movie Ratchet

That's not really what I meant.
Tell me anyone who didn't at least get goosebumps with R&C's ending when Ratchet stops being a jerk.
Now tell me anyone who cared when Ratchet stopped being a jerk in ToD.
I think Mikey's raspier voice adds so much, JAT just sounds like generic hero #427.

That's just… true. I gotta admit Mikey gave Ratchet more personality, but it's not just about the voice actors - material the actors are working with plays a big role as well. James is indeed playing with the generic hero #427's voice. Why? Because Ratchet himself is in fact generic hero #427.

Replaying Deadlocked is really weird now…

Why?

Why?

Can Team Darkstar do this?
Oh! Team Darkstar is dead meat!
Darkstar is definitely not surviving this!

Oh yeah emoji

That's one mystery solved. I knew I heard your nickname somewhere before, but couldn't remember.
