Thread: Really Random thread

Oh, interesting.

It's a joke because BRB wanted to make an R&C game but they decided to put Sonic on it just so kids would buy it.

SONIC ON AN R&C GAME???

I don't like Sonic, to be honest

And now I'm reminded of those allegedly upcoming anime crossovers.

I played it on 3DS and simply hat– disliked it. It's yet another slow paced Sonic game. But I still have high hopes for the Wii U version. As long as you play with an AI instead of switching between all characters yourself. I really ha– dislike that about the 3DS version.

I get how the NTSC versions have these multi meaning titles like Up Your Arsenal, Full Frontal Assault and evertything. But I never got 'Going Commando'. But I just heard someone say it on a series I watch, so decided to look it up. Now finally I fully understand the whole 1, 2, 3-thing.

http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=Going+Commando

"…titled as Ratchet & Clank 2: Locked and Loaded in most PAL countries, Ratchet & Clank 2 in Ireland, Holland, Portugal, Germany, and France, Ratchet & Clank 2: Totalmente a Tope (Totally on Top) in Spanish…"

They've made the right decision in changing the games' title emoji

Locked and Loaded was a bit bland in comparison to Going Commando though. I don't get why we (in the place where I am) got Up Your Arsenal, but not Going Commando. And it isn't very good knowing that this still happens, with 4 Play and Into the Nether Regions being rejected globally… the world is just too PC these days.

That's because the innuendo in Up Your Arsenal is not as obvious as Going Commando.
Also, be glad you didn't get Ratchet and Clank 2 and Ratchet and Clank 3 like we did (the reverse e is reduntant if you put 3 in the title, ESRB…emoji

Sorry, what do you mean "too PC"?

Politically correct.

I Disagree. Up Your Arsenal was obvious to me from day 1, Going Commando was not. And I must say, it was the same for most people I ever knew who played the games. Going Commando just isn't a term people really use here… like ever. And because it's one of those things that everyone understands but never uses, it will go straight through kids without any question.

EDIT: It must have a lot to do with the spelling of "Arsenal"

We got a 3 in UYA. Ours is Ratchet & Clank 3: Up Your Arsenal.

This was actually the fist ime I heard someone say 'going commando' aside from Ratchet 2. So if something as abscure as that can't be used…how did Size Matter make it all the way through?

It's that sort of thing where if you know what both terms mean then Going Commando would just be the more obvious innuendo.
Also every Ratchet and Clank title goes straight through kids.

I saw the logo, why does no one realise that the e is supposed to be a 3 emoji

Because people aren't on to it, that's why no one ever sees the e.

And Going Commando I can at least acknowledge people would say (or at least would have, anyway). Size Matters is a phrase that I can confidently say I have never run into in inappropriate context. It's just such a general saying.

So I guess some people just have a bit of "dirty mind"
By the way, what's wrong with the word "arsenal"?
