Thread: Really Random thread

It's one of the few games I beat as a kid. Replayed certain levels a shardston of times. I remember liking the first level in the zoo, the city and with the Penguins on the boat. It's also the one game I had as a kid with Dutch subtitles. From the dark days when I only knew the words 'yes' and 'no'.

Oh, yeah, my English was terrible at that time I play the game as a kid. I even pronounced "Zoo Escape" zu es-ca-pé instead of zu es-kaep!

For me it was Zó Eskaap. emoji

Fortunately my English was much better at the time I reached the last levels.

Speaking about languages, Gameloft was pretty kind to put Indonesian in Brothers in Arms 3's language option, but the translation was still a little faulty emoji

Talking about the pronunciation of the word escape reminds me of Finding Nemo :oui:

I recently finished inFamous Second Son of good and evil, as well as inFamous First Light. All very sad games. [inFamous Second Son spoilers]

Reggie and Hank's deaths were absolutely tragic. I was so close to letting Hank go, even though I had to do the evil playthrough, it would have to be the second time I have ever attempted to resist the flow of the game, while in gameplay… the first time would be the evil ending of inFamous 2.

So I'd say that it's fair to say that inFamous games have the most emotionally involving stories I have ever experienced. It also helps that they are all tremendous fun. I can't wait to find out what Sucker Punch are working on next. Whatever it is, I know it will be amazing.

The only inFamous I've played so far is First Light. I'd really like to pick up Second Son soon. And replace my Dutch copies of inFamous 1/2 with the UK or US ones.

You should pick up First Light when you can. NZ should have a hardcopy release as well. It might be short, but it's one the best games I've played in 2014. Simply beautiful!

Can't you change it to English in the PS3's settings?

As I said, I've played and finished First Light. And although it was good, I feel it wasn't quite as good as Second Son.

I do have the physical version of First Light, but I see that I could have gotten it for free on PS+, so I'm pretty bummed about that emoji

And the first 2 inFamous games are really good. They really are special games that must be played by everyone.

Oh, sorry. I read your comment a little fast, as to avoid spoilers. But you put them in a spoiler, so thanks for that. emoji

And, no. Unfortunately I can't change the language of inFamous 1 or 2. It started up in French on my English PS3, which is the horror of any Dutch gamer. Apperently inFamous was the first and last franchise to get a BeNeLux disc without an English version of the game. So I'm probably going to get an NTSC version soon.

Non-retaled. But I spotted this on Facebook. It applies to me as well, when I'm shopping with my mother. I hate shopping for clothes…

Sums up most of the trip to the store emoji

Game stores in a city? 1 or maybe 2. Clothes? About 10 million and they're all the same. Why must we visit all them them?!

The problem isn't how many clothes stores we visit, it's how much time we spend in them.
I swear that my mother spends around 2 hours just LOOKING at clothes. Thankfully there's a game store nearby, so I can spend those 2 hours looking at games emoji

At the clothes store: Mom and sister getting interested, little brother is pretty happy (and sometimes annoying), dad is okay, and I'm sitting in boredom. Meanwhile at the game store: I'm getting really interested, brother, sister, and dad are okay, while my mom seems to be bored

This speaks to me.
