Thread: Really Random thread

Most people tell me something like: ''Go watch it. It's way better than Frozen!''. ''Nothing is better than Frozen.''

But I still don't think it's my thing and I don't want to waste €10 on it..

Are we going back into the Frozen arguement with Heather? Don't you know it's… http://youtu.be/Y57-q1q7oxg?t=1m30s

Which doesn't change the fact that Big Hero 6 was better thsn Frozen.

Seriously though, different people (gender), different tastes. Let's all leave it like that, we won't 'prove' each other anything.

I have never seen Frozen, and I still don't plan on it. Big Hero 6 was pretty alright, but it is not even on my list of top animated movies.

I really don't belong in this conversation with opinions like mine, do I? emoji

Here is something random and movie related (which will probably not help my image). I just got done watching the 6th Star Wars (after watching 4 and 5 a few months a go), and I was not very impressed. It's okay at best. Maybe I would have appreciated it more if I hadn't watched Die Hard the day before, which I found to be a rather good movie. Star Wars just seems a little too dated and obsolete now.

Family Guy made Star Wars look better than it was. emoji

I hate his "death on baby vids" but I like asdf movies…except that one with the babies dying emoji

Wait a second, I just remembered something.

I'm sorry, I must strike you as really evil emoji …for double-posting

Heather is going to agree with you so much emoji

Anyway, another movie related thing - remember that Film Financial Services leak from 2012? The one where the info about the production of Ratchet & Clank, Sly Cooper, Jak & Daxter and ModNation Races movies was found? Well, I chcecked their web page lately and this is what they have to say:

By example, we are currently financing a number of films based on Sony PlayStation video game franchises including Heavenly Sword, Ratchet & Clank, Sly Cooper and several others currently in production but yet to be announced.

Keep in mind these aren't some trolls on the internet, the company's logo actually appears on both Ratchet & Clank and Sly Cooper movies' official websites.

An interesting find, indeed. I would like to see a Jak movie but I will not get my hopes up… partly because I just know they WILL ruin everything!

And how could Heather agree with me? I openly said I have zero interest in seeing Frozen …again.

EDIT, Just to clarify: As in, I have said in the past that I wouldn't watch Frozen, not like I've actually seen the film before.

I meant the Star Wars part.

Oh okay, well that is nice. I think that Star Wars has been copied and done better by inspired so many other things that I've been more interested in, like Ratchet & Clank, Halo, Guardians of the Galaxy and (I feel) even games like Killzone and Destiny.

Star Wars is just too unbelievable, predictable, cliche, and child family-friendly. Oh and the battles are all completely pointless, because they all follow a formula that never leaves any question as to what the outcome might be

A pile of stupid dead storm troopers and the heroes narrowly escaping death

Although I'll admit it's pulled together by a reasonably interesting story, with one or two somewhat likable characters, like Vader and the golden robot… but I'm being pretty generous.

I feel I should weigh in here.

I wasn't that interested in Frozen when it was in the cinemas, and I'm not that interested in Big Hero 6. I have only seen Frozen once, and I agree that it's a fantastic movie in many ways. However, I personally have no active desire to watch it again in the foreseeable future.
I do quite like Wreck-It Ralph and The Lego Movie.

If I had to choose from these three latest Disney animated movies, Wreck-It-Ralph would be my choice too emoji

Yes! Oh my gawd, I totally agree (on the Star Wars part)! Finally. I mean, I love Star Wars. But not the movies. Compared to the Expanded Universe the movies are the least interesting. I would even say: flatout boring. Star Wars Trilogy? Yawn. I rather Darth Bane, Knights of the Old Republic and most of all The Force Unleashed.

That is an improvement :oui:

These (in my humble opinion) are the pinnacle of the Star Wars brand:

The Force Unleashed has an incredible story spead over 2 games and 2 novalizations. If you want the complete thing you must play ánd read. Otherwise you'll miss a vital detail.

And don't get me started on BioWare's Star Wars. The Old Republic (MMORPG) is free to play. Now that was Star Wars.

*On a side note. The narator in that video.. it's Jennifer Hale <3

I rather Darth Bane

I feel I need to quote TDKR's plane scene every time someone mentions Bane
