And don't forget that before you launch a mission you should select your equipment!

And always have the Fulton recovery, for what Chocolate said.

Oh and if you take the canon ending of MGS1 then you don't get given the camo by Otacon, but somewhere between MGS1 and 2 he'll give it to you, so you have it at the start of MSG2. So really it doesn't matter what you do at the end of MGS1, MGS2 will make sense either way… but MGS4 will not.

I highly recommend you play MGS1 and then go through MGS2 and 4 again afterwards.

I'll go though MSG1 once I am able to find it cheap.

And I just beat the tank. Turns out I just didn't experiment enough with Mission Prep ^^'

And now something for MGS3:
Is it possible to swap gun surpressors?

I HGIHLY recommend getting it on PSN. It isn't that expensive, and you can download it onto PS3, PSP, PS Vita and PS4. And the game is very fun to play on the go!

However at the moment they are having issues with the Vita version, but once it's fixed you'll realise it is the best version to play. Even if you don't have a Vita or PSP you'll probably get one at some point.

The suppressors can be toggled. As you hover over the weapon you want to put the suppressor on or take off (In-game) press one of the buttons on the D-pad (Its a very specific button, I can't remember which one though)

I'm just guessing here but Darkstar probably still doesn't have much room on his PS3's hard drive…

Not enough room for a PS1 game? I mean you could delete like 2 save files and you'd have enough room.

I'll go though MSG1 once I am able to find it cheap.

Well you've got fleamarkets (my copy was 0,50€), but retailers usually ask 20€ on both the normal and special edition. I think thats a decend price.

I know that, but what I ment was if I had a gun with it's suppressor about to wear out, but had another (less efficient) gun with it's suppressor still strong, could I swap them?

No, you can't. Its just like real life, they aren't compatible.

Oh, alright thanks.

BTW: Wasn't The End supposed to be a serious pain?

Here are my full impressions on Tomb Raider 1 for PS1…

To sum it up in one word: Stink.

And why did I decide that the game stinks? Well allow me to explain…

I've never ever played with a PS1 system before, and I totally missed out on all of those games. PSN has allowed me to catch up on most of them, and I've enjoyed almost every single one of them. But unfortunately my impressions with Tomb Raider have made me not want to even play Tomb Raider II, a game I OWN!? Its a sad day when I won't play a brand new game in the middle of a major gaming low…

The controls are a complete disaster. I'm sure everyone would agree with me on this one.
The story is still yet to be told. I'm up to the T-Rex, and unless some narrative starts busting out of the mysterious temple beyond this Dinosaur like it's the end of MGS2, I'm giving this a low score on the story front.
The graphics are something interesting alright, but with the controls the way they are, I get to hate my immediate surroundings, and it can totally ruin a really nice scene! I mean they can fit some pretty things in the shots, but the controls destroy everything for me.

Its very hard, and one of those games I actually don't want to get use to, because that would require a certain level of stress I am not comfortable letting a game get away with.

I give it a 2/10. The only reason it is a 2 is because its hard to find a game that looks this good, but when you need to be reading a walk-trough for every step of your adventure, its far less adventure-ey.

I cruised through the Crash games, rocketed through Rayman 2, happily slashed through MediEvil, loved every second of Metal Gear Solid, and even got trough the entire of Rayman, all on my PS Vita. But Tomb Raider… consider yourself deleted!

Maybe I'll give the reboot a try in a few years when it's down to $2.00

Ah, yes. Tomb Raider '96… I threw pretty much all of the Core Tomb Raider's out of the window with that backwards arse controls. If you want the real Tomb Raiders you should play the Crystal Dynamics games (Tomb Raider '13 - Anniversary - Legend - Underworld is chrono order). The Core Tomb Raider games are non-canon now anyway.

3 words: Tomb Raider Anniversary (I don't like Underworld and Legend though… sorry)
