FILIP Y U NO STUDY IN JAKARTA emoji

Haha, what. You heard about that?emoji

Well, it's a great example though. 80% wants 'Zwarte Piet' to stay, 20% does not. And the 20% eventually wins.

Same with the ''refugees''. 80% don't want them, 20% does. 4600 a week enter The Netherlands. Whoop die doo.

I don't find anything offensive, Anka. What my ancestors did is history. But I have had many essays on the subject during highschool. And movies.. sooo many movies.

Okay, I'll message you about the story if the people's hate towards the Dutchmen back then.

I find history really interesting, because you can get to know what the people back then did. So, that's why I always love to visit historical museums and landmarks.

You loved WWII related topics, yes?

Of course! Thanks, Call of Duty: Roads to Victory, and NatGeo's "Military Mondays".

Angry Birds now has a trailer for the movie, which comes around the same time as Ratchet and Clank. Given that this is a Sony movie, does Ratchet and Clank have some competition?

Ho boy, this looks interesting. Who is voicing "the Pig" again? Peter Dinklage? No, wait, I don't even know what does he sound like…

I bought a new laptop for work because my BTO got outdated. I have an msi now (probably going to stick with this brand) and this thing is super creepy! I counted, it takes 6 seconds to turn in on. Then I can do whatever the heck I want. That's amazing!

This movie seems to have great potential, what I find most intriguing is the fact that they had very little content to begin with. The plot of any Angry Birds game in a nutshell is "Pigs steal eggs. Birds fight pigs to retrieve eggs.", that's not enough for an entire cinematic production. The whole idea of the bird paradise with the few individuals that need to attend anger management classes, is somewhat creative. I would like to see how much in depth they can expand this universe.
The trailer did a great job. The movie looks fun and now it's on my "must see" list. emoji
I'm glad they decided to add limbs to the characters instead of making some blobs covered in feathers. This aspect always bothered me in the games, I guess I just can't stand the idea of birds having no wings and no legs…

I gotta admit, it seems nice. But Angry Birds… how did something so bording get so heavily merchandised?

Yup, the AB merchandise bothers me exactly as much as the Minions. Too much is just too much! In fact, I only tried the game in the first place just to see what the fuss was all about, and even to this day I don't understand what do people find so great about it. There are lots of better games out there, but those games don't receive not even nearly as much attention AB gets.
Even if I don't like the game, nor it's merchandise, I'm still going to watch this movie because it seems to have some RIO vibe to it.

What happened was a market that didn't exist yet. Angry Birds released at just the right time whem mobile gaming wasn't as populair as now. So this was one of the few polished games in the store. T'was just the right time. And now we're stuck with the plushies, shirts, theme park and many many more!emoji

Similiarly to the Sinterklaas issue, I guess? Well that's why I'd move to Canada.

One of us! One of us! One of us! emoji

I'm actually considering studying abroad (and preferably in Canada) for, like, half a year emoji Any tips on where?

That is where I live…

Hmm… I've played the game. It's quite fun, actually.

It's fun, but I would agree that it's not worth all the fuss it gets.
