Speaking of Frozen, I went through all the different versions of 'Let it Go' just now. I'm in the middle of a relaxing process of 'pre-animating' so I could use some music. Although I have to admit, I skipped German, Dutch and Flemish. I listened to my favorite part of the song in Dutch (when Elsa builds her ice castle) but turned it off fairly quickly. I hate my own language. I also find it strange there's a Flemish version at all. Thats like making a British English version too.
Never mind… where was I? Some of these languages are really nice to listen too. I really liked the French, Swedish, Portugese and Mandarin versions. But it was easy to misshear some sentences. Such as: ''Let them ski, let them see'' is something I hear in the Swedish version. Or 'Laat het go' in the Danish version. Which is something you can hear a young Dutch child say who just learned a bit of English.
If you like the song or Frozen overall, I encourage to go through all the versions. Gives you some entertainment. Turns out - surprise surprise - English is the best.
English versions of English films are usually the best ones. Excluding Shrek - Polish dub wins 
…aaaand Madagascar 1 in Dutch. Melman has a great dummy voice actor. And I watch The Land Before Time in Dutch because of the nostalgia factor, never seen the English version. I don't even know the English names of the characters.

I remember seeing my first episode of that. Your dub may be good, but (once again) the Dutch version hurts my ears. That… and I don't like the personality they gave to Julian. He's very, how do I put this, I female bully in a man's body.
And the Polish dub of A4O… I thought you'd be going with that one. But I think that it really depends on whether you speak the language or now. Just like this will not make you cry in agony:

I actually know what they're singing. And beside the lyrics, the majesty of the Dutch language is… something you would only use to communicate to other Dutchmen. Not something you'd like to hear in a movie/tv-show/video game or even a song!
Which makes me curious. In Holland every single media is kept in the original language with some subs. Movies for a younger audiance are often dubbed, but you have a choice to go to the original too. However, I figured this wasn't 'normal' because our neighbours, Germany, dub everything. There isn't such thing as an 'original' version. Heck, I don't even think anything has German subtitles. They even dub the news… live news! How does it work in other countries?
"How does it work in other countries?" Well, when I was staying for a night in Amsterdam I was like "FINALLY". Finally I saw a TV movie with credits! Luckily, we don't have such a dub-obsession as Germans do (though we're never screening animations with original dub in cinemas), but we have something else… lector. A guy reading all the lines with the original sound in backgroung! You might say "ugh", but it's still better than German dubs, though I wish our televisions were doing subtitles.
As for the song - it wasn't that bad. Elsa's voice is pretty deep though. And I think I wasn't fair showing a bad Clank dub - this is a character, that can't be done outside English.

Well, I'd like to be in a comfort situation of 'not-minding' the dub of R&C, but unfortunately, I won't be able to change the PS3 system language in cinema And movie's polish distributor is working with the same dub-studio that's working with Sony…
