Thread: Tools of Destruction on PSN

So I checked the PlayStation Store today, and it turns out that they've apparently just released the full game of Tools of Destruction for download! It's only been six years since the game's release

So anyway, despite Insomniac Games saying that they don't like to go back and modify old games, does anyone think that they may have taken this opportunity to do something like adding trophy-support or fixing bugs, or do you reckon it's just a straightforward downloadable port with no changes whatsoever?

Based on a quick check on ps3trophies.com, there seems to be no listings for Tools of Destruction, so no, they probably didn't add trophy support.
If anything, they most likely just fixed any bugs.

You found it pretty late Anyway, I don't think they have changed anything at all - fans were yelling for those trophies for so many years IG wouldn't leave them without information. But it's good to know more people will get opportunity to get the game

There are no mentions of releasing ToD on PSN on any Insomniac forums yet?

They could add trophies if they ported it to the PS4 or Vita, though.

It's impossible they add trophies in the game. I don't think Insomniac would waste their time about one of their old games, even though i'd like TOD has trophies.

Does it? My bad, I saw it on the store, and automatically assumed that they'd re-released it as a download. Partly because the PSStore doesn't usually advertise things only available on disc, and partly because it's been so long since ToD was initially released…
