Upcoming is also the Tomb Raider reboot movie!
As for the games I wish got (another) movie I'm going for:
Mass Effect (Has a movie ME: Paragon Lost, but love to see one like Appleseed or Dragon Age)
Uncharted (with Nolan North, Emily Rose, etc.)
I would say MGS, but Kojima has already taken care of that.
Now officially addicted to League of Legends.

Sometimes movies can do more harm than good, especially when canon. I think MGS is one of those franchises that just isn't suited. Wonder how the novels worked out though.

The novels are pretty much re-tellings of the games.

Does that come down to the fact they're non-canon or just 2nd person?

I only read the first MGS novel but its almost exactly the first game, aside from some liberties they took with certain scenes (the one that stood out to me most was the fight with Psycho Mantis) and some cringing OOC-ness, mostly regarding Snake himself.
Anyways, in most cases I'm just fine with my favorite games NOT getting movie adaptations, but I could see inFAMOUS working pretty well as a movie.

There's a few good game movies I've seen.
Tomb Raider and Tomb Raider: Cradle of Life are probably my favorites. The first movie has a real Tomb Raider feel to it and CoL reminds me of Angel of Darkness but is still a great movie.
Final Fantasy: Spirits Whitin is also a great CG movie that never gets old. Doesn't relate to any FF but itself, just like the games do. So why do people complain about that fact? Gamers
Mass Effect: Paragon Lost is a great 2nd person view of ME2. Mass Effect is supported by the canon books, comics and movie. Characters and events from those come back in the game too and it worked out great!
I've also seen the Resident Evil movies, but can't complain. People always yap over game-to-movies. I seriously don't understand some of the arguments they give *sigh

3 easy steps to understand why people hate this movie:
1 - Play any Resident Evil game that isn't 5 or 6
2 - Watch the movie.
3 - Understand us.

Not Resi specificly, but global. Resi I understand, I've played the fan-favorites. But with Tomb Raider, Final Fantasy, Prince of Persia etc. I just don't get it. I love the Tomb Raider movies, I don't think Angie is a bad actress, or that the action feels fake, or the music to be bad, or the props look bad, or the SFX is bad. But these 'people' I mention aren't really pleased by anything.
It's just because it's not faithful to the source material.

What I've seen so far sets the mood just right or are great stand alone. FF: Spirits Whitin is a great CG movie on its own, but people are to obsessed with the fact it carries the name 'Final Fantasy' and can't seem to look through that name to see the beauty of the movie itself…reminds me of XIII.
Not all movies live up to the game they represent, but are still fine movies on their own.

But that's still a problem, if a movie carries the name of a certain game but then it has nothing to do with said game, then it's pretty obvious it's a cheap cash grab. Especially when the movie is usually only seen by fans of the games. I'm calling it right now that 90% of the people who see the R&C movie are already fans of the games.

Probably. But would you judge the new R&C movie by the fact its a game-to-movie? All I hear is (not here though)
'' *wines. This will be so bad. Reminds me of Prince of Persia movie''
I just hate to read those kinds of comments…
Well, to be fair, PoP put me to sleep and I haven't even played the games.
