Thread: When you think Ratchet and Clank...

When you think of Ratchet and Clank what do you think of? The classic Ps2 era? The psp spinoffs? The future trilogy? The Ps3 spinoffs? Or even the comic and the movie?
When I think of Ratchet and Clank, I think of the movie, and a culmination of Tools of Destruction. What do you think?

UYA.

Dozens of complaining fanboys doing everything to rip the franchise apart since 2011.
Future series.

If you're taling about me, then it's 2009

No, I was talking abour A4O haters.
I said, that when I think "Ratchet & Clank", I think of Future series.

UYA.

Uya's winning :|

Rightfully so.

It's not my fault I began with the PS3 titles…
And that I didn't enjoy GC and UYA gameplay that much…

It's not even that different from the gameplay in ToD… well, except for the hoverbike races and the hovership and the Giant Clank levels and the various different gadgets and the vid-comics and the… okay fine, the gameplay is quite different in those games, but even so - it's still similar to ToD…

Vid-comics were great actually. It's just that in GC and UYA there was almost no platforming. I didn't say I don't like these games at all, they're just not my personal favourites.

Okay, that's fair enough. When I played GC as a kid, the parts of the game I found most difficult were the platforming puzzles; I guess you're right about there being less of them in that game, I just never noticed there was less of them because more of my childhood was spent trying to beat the platforming sections than the shooting sections! emoji

I wouldn't say platforming sections, more like "use this gadget here" sections.

Well that escalated quickly. I agree with Kubak on UYA: definatley a downgrade in level design. GC's my favorite Ps2 stillemoji
