Pollyx Industries didn't really provide Ratchet with any weapons (only two gadgets in ItN).
I think Vox Industries would be better (or Dreadzone, I don't know who was providing the weapons in DL).

Clank or Qwark. Ratchet may have the most fingers, but he's no match for muscle or skill. Nefarious has a mean slap though 
Nefarious is synthetic, but… I would go for Qwark though. Those abs!
