i don't mind not being one,but how does one become a moderator,do they just pick?
i think it's exciting doing this,as i've done this before,but again,i don't mind,im just curious…
because,honestly,i find it confusing how there are more french moderators,managers,etc. than there are in the english…so far i only found three in the english version: TipsyMcBee,Tara Cross, and Barnaby.
(i know that it started off with french,but shouldn't there be an equal ammount of people in the english?)
There's a total of five moderators on Ratchet Galaxy, out of the five there are only Two English moderators… TipsyMcBee and RevanAC. Tara Cross is the Ratchet Galaxy manager and Barnaby is part of the.. Media source…
I'm sure if they need moderators they will choose someone who is right for the job.
Thing is, the English version doesn't have as much activity as the French side, so we don't need as many mods.
i've actually seen lots of threads (really old) that has rules broken,and unfortunately,people who are moderators don't usually stay to see that,they see the most recent posts

though you are right,im afraid they'll say No "because we have enough" maybe,idk,but maybe i can,i have one moderator as a friend (RatchetBlaster) though,he's in the french version of this site,im not sure if he can do it,but again,i'll try,because i actually want to help this site,i've always liked wotking on these things

The trick is to make them see you are useful… try to make stuff for the website and try to become a contributor… getting a special rank is the first step to becoming a mod… when you have been a contributor for a while try doing more to help the site… and one day, you will maybe have your rank: Moderator too.

i already PM RatchetBlaster,i really hope he accepts me,because i want to help the site,i come here everyday and i feel useless because of what i could do.
Also,im pretty sure you don't HAVE to be a certain rank before you go to the other
Me and Tipsy are able to handle the English site pretty easily as it is, there's not much going on here on the english site so we dont really need more than just us at the moment, i mean sure we might miss something every now and then but no one can be online 24/7, so if we ever feel we need more mods, we'll let the members know and see who's interested
and no, you dont have to be a certain rank to become a moderator, i was just a regular member before i was given the position
yeah,i knew i wasn't going to actually be assigned a mod,nope,too good to be true,oh well 
and anyway,it'll be YEARS before they will ask for a new moderator,because the moderators aren't leaving at the moment,and since the english "doesn't have as much activity" which i think isn't true because French and English have equal activity,i check who's online daily every 2min.

well we're simply not looking for mods right now, by 'not much going on' i mean there's no one causing any trouble or anything, not that there no activity, thats why me and Tipsy can handle it pretty easily with just the two of us
and no, you're not, no one is, i can see that you live in the states, so you're 5 hours behind us here in europe, and a lot can happen in the 5 hours that you'd be sleeping at the start of our day, plus with Tipsy being in Canada, and me in Ireland, we pretty much got it covered for the times most people will be online.
but we will let everyone know if we need more staff, but just not right now
