Also, I noticed something strange about Sonic's voice… I'm fine with Roger Craig Smith voicing him, but his voice can get really akward sometimes in this game.
Probably because he's trying to emulate the voice he does in the show but since they aren't recording the same way (all of the voice actors in the same room, almost like a play) it sounds kinda awkward at times.
No, I meant that he… Chnages the way he talks, his accent or something… And then he sounds normal again.

Actually, it's intention was different to me. It was released around game's announcement, when everyone were picking on it. The video's kinda "come on, there are so many bad Sonic games, this one would have to try really hard to beat them all". Ironically, it did.

Maybe, but in the Lorax, the guy who sung the song it (haven't seen the Lorax so I don't know his name) was destroying everything while he was singing it so that kinda makes me think that the creator thought the game thought of itself as being good while actually being terrible.
