Honestly, that game was worth the 'horrors', i was finally able to play one of my favorite PS2 games again. I know it's not "normal" Ratchet & Clank, and the port was indeed pretty bad, but i loved how dark the game was, the amazing designs and the atmosphere. It's something new that we don't see alot in the newer Ratchet and Clank games. (Except ItN, that had some pretty evil parts in it too…
Gladiator was my first actually. It isn't my favorite, but I sure love it! Luckely I can fire up my PS2 any time.
Does anyone here have a game that they can just pop in and play at anytime while still enjoying it?
Seems like UYA is that game to me.
Final Fantasy XII for me. Every once in a while I pop in the disc and just run around all the different environments because they are so damn pretty.
I tried to play 'play a game' last night to kill an hour. Its hard. GTA V has gotten annoying, because while I drive around looking for random events I get bored and stole someones car, drove it onto a stage, stalked some people, shot those people because they ran away, and then threw a C4 at a cop car resulting in 4 stars. I ended up dying, and ultimately quitting and not having made any progress. I didn't feel stisfied. So I played The Last of Us… but that is a game you need time to get into…
So I'm having that problem. Maybe having Killzone: Mercenary will help out, they'll add bats, and I'll just keep fighting them in my spare time!

I could see the shark at the beggining, but when I turned my head right 'Ratchet' looked more like… Santa Claus' reindeer.

The island (that's supposed to be Ratchet) has a piece of land on the right, that's Ratchet's left hand. He's swimming towards you.
