Thread: Really Random thread

I remember trying to contact Kubak, yet because I crazily respected all the more prominent users, I wrote to him as if he were Dalai Lama or someone like that

I know what you mean. I was the same way when I joined the IG Forums. I thought I was dirt in comparison to everyone else.

I never participate in the word chain threads. Personally I feel they are pretty thoughtless games, and I do not see the appeal. I hope nobody takes this statement the wrong way though.

That's what I have with IG, so many discussions and opinion. You are never right and every disagrees in a way that isn't always very respectfull. I prefer t here. Nice. Quiet. Friendly. ^^

I haven't watched Inside Out, and I've already opened the spoiler tags. That means, the ending has been spoiled for me. Yay…

As to sadness touching the core memories, I think it was something to do with making them fond memories to think about and remember, but in a way that the girl (don't hate me, but I don't remember her name) still recognizes that she is at a new point in her life after moving and will -unfortunately- never return to that life again. So in short, those memories need to be "sad" so that she can look back fondly, accept her life for what it was, and move on.

Yeah, that bit of sadness just turned these memories into, well, nostalgic memories.

I'm just not that interested in watching the movie, so…

And Ruler, your opinion about the Word Chain games is understandable (for me, at least). I participate there just to have fun and I don't always know what to post on the other threads.

I was starting to fit in at those forums pretty well, but after a while I started falling behind, and was never able to keep up with everything. And so I never really post there anymore. It's good for a read every now and then, but I like posting around these forums a lot because I can get to know everyone pretty well due to our small size, and I can always keep up with everything… also due to our small size.

Oh and of course, the members are great here, but to be fair, the community at the IG Forums is pretty great too.

Sometimes, small size isn't a disadvantage.

N'yeah, there is sooo much. Eventually I didn't like to spend hours trying to keep up, so I left. Without a word. Which I could totally do because nobody knows nobody by name anyway.

We should probably revive the One Word Story and Ruin A Wish games.

I must say this is the only forum I have ever joined, everything and everyone here is nice. If I remember correctly, I stumbled upon this site a few years ago (2 or 3) when looking for some R&C wallpapers. After that, I used to visit this site once in a while only to check the news, until last year when I decided to join in the fun. I might not be a very active member, but I do enjoy reading and participating in these threads.

Yeah, this is the first online community I ever joined. Whew, turns out I could have fun here.
