It'll be a quite tough trip to get my dream tanks on WoT Blitz. Oh, by the way, when did summer start? I live in a tropical country.

According to the internet, June 21th. There was a warm week in The Netherlands, such wow! But I'm more of a rain person anyway. Cause then I have a reason to stay inside all day. emoji

Another reason pretty graphics don't mean a pretty game:

Here, they started on 26th of June - the last Friday of June is always the last day of school.

It's different for every country? Alrighty then, totally not confusing at all.

The climate of France is generally cold in winter and mild in summer, but mild winters and hot summers are usual along the Mediterranean sea (French riviera) and in the South West of France. And I live near the Mediterranean Coast. Besides, the country is in heat wave, and temperatures reach 32-34°C.

In my case, like HeatherGrace, summer started since June 21. It's normal because our two countries are close, located in Western Europe. emoji

And you: How's the weather?

It has been hot, sunny, and sometimes cloudy for almost a month. And it rained a few days ago after no rain for several days. But, generally it rains quite often here.

The South is usually very nice, I've been to Nimes last year. It rained only once… and it spawned if giant spider. Which then decided to live next to our caravan in the bushes. Great.

So, the weather simply can't decide what it wants, then? emoji

……….

Currently we have; rain. So it was not my smartest move to wear a T-shirt today.

Since like I said, it rains quite often here, umbrellas and/or raincoats are must-have here.

Not the steady rain, but this kind right?

……….

Hmm… I had thought that since Frozen people would finally pronounce and write my name correctly. Nope. Anne all the way! emoji

Well, floods happen during storms and heavy rains, but, in where I live, not to the point it'll sink your yard. Also, the thunders are loud. So you'll have to be prepared.

Oh, we're talking weather, eh?

I guess you could say I'm lucky to live in a region of our country that is renowned for it's fairly good weather. But that means nothing to me, as like Heater, I prefer a good miserable day. Unless it's too cold. I hate the cold. And we are in the middle of winter now, so these chilling days are becoming rather irritating.

One morning last week we measured temperatures as low as -1 degrees!

At this exact moment, it is raining, and lightning has flashed in the sky twice now. It isn't cracking though, so not really that exciting I suppose.

I have a question: Which SI derived unit do you use to express a temperature?

Personally, I express the temperature in degree Celsius, even if the SI base unit is the kelvin (we usually use it in France). So, if you use the degree Fahrenheit (for example), I must convert your measure to get a real idea about the temperature at your home. Knowing that 1 K = 1 °C = 9/5 °F = 9/5 °R, if you really use the degree Fahrenheit, you measured temperatures as low as -1°F, or -18°C.

However, perhaps you have just used the degree Celsius (or the kelvin) and I'm mistaken. emoji

-18°C sounds too extreme for New Zealand, unless it's for real. Reminds me of the winter in the Soviet Union that put a halt in Germany's blitzkrieg.

Eh, I just enjoy learning about some WW2 stuffs.

Yes, that's right (but I didn't know he lives in New Zealand). The climate of New Zealand is mostly cool temperate to warm temperate with a strong maritime influence. However, due to its highly varied topography, microclimates can be found across the country. The main factors are similar to those found in the British Isles owing to the Pacific Ocean and latitude, although the mountain ranges can cause significant climate variations in locations barely tens of kilometres from each other.

New Zealand has mild temperatures, moderately high rainfall, and many hours of sunshine. The average New Zealand temperature decreases as we travel south. January and February are the warmest months, and July is the coldest month of the year. In summer, the average maximum temperature ranges between 20-30ºC (70-90°F) and in winter between 10-15ºC (50-60°F).

As New Zealand lies in the Southern Hemisphere, it has opposite seasons to those living in the northern half of the world. emoji

So, -1°C seems to be very cold in a country like New Zealand… Good luck in your fight against weather conditions. emoji
