Yeah, it's a shame that IG went in a completely different direction after ACiT basically perfected the classic gameplay style and they haven't really gone back to it since.

Well, based on what I've played from the Ps4 game, I'd say they've gone back…to some extent ;D

That's good to hear. emoji

I've played it too, but it wasn't very amazing. It actually reminds me of Hamster Fyling. A flash game that you could play in your browser yeeeaaars ago.

You'll find that about most mobile games. Mobile games tend to all be based off some older game concept from quite a long time ago, often made simple for the sake of the touchscreen controls, and filled with in-app purchases.

Being random again, what places do you want to visit? Can be historical cities, natural landscapes, anything.

If money has anything to do with it, Australia. I am not so keen on the idea of having animals that can kill people though. But if money isn't such a problem I might want to go a bit further. Probably England or some other European country. There is nothing specific I would like to get out of traveling, though.

From the gameplay they have shown off, it looks like it controls more like Nexus than A Crack in Time, actually.

That's why I said "to some extent." Which isn't that bad–ITN did have a great control scheme. The Ps4 game simply improved upon that, returned the o as fire, and flipped the r2, l2 controls.

Having the circle button return as a fire button is a downside for me. I was glad to finally be done with that ridiculous control with R&C: ACiT, and I am sad to see it come back as a primary fire button. And what is mapped to R2 and L2? Because I would have liked to think they did what every sensible PS4 game is doing, by putting aim on L2 and fire on R2.

They have, but it never was that way before…R1 was fire, and R2 was strafe.

Well if you'd been playing a variety of different PS4 games that have shooting mechanics, you'd notice they all have fire on R2, where their PS3 counterparts would have had fire on R1. Examples include: Metal Gear Solid, Killzone, inFamous, and Destiy… there are probably more, but these are the only shooter games I have played on both PS3 and PS4.

Personally, I am very much prefering fire being on R2, because it is the command we use the most, and it is the button that feels the most right to be pressing.

Don't have a Ps4 yet…but it makes sense, after all, the R2 button resembles a trigger.

And on the PS4, it it much nicer to press, because of it's concave design.

Hey Ratchetruler, you reminded me of something.

Roughly a week ago me and my dad went to spectate the Mad Race - the kind of spartan race where your goal is to conserve your energy over a 7km course while running through different obstacles. Mud, for example. And we were there to cheer for my brother.

But I've noticed someone there cheering in English, so I started talking to them. One guy turned out to be from New Zealand who moved to the Czech Republic (for beer and women, he said). Now he's got a family here and teaches at a multilanguage school. He ran the race and then was cheering for his students.

I don't know what are you going to do with that information.

Yea, they do get around. Most of the people I know are desperate to move out of the country in search of a more exciting place to live. All we really have down here is the scenery, which attracts tourists, and rich people looking to retire quite well.

Oh, Filip, where was the race held?
