I remember last week I saw the first ever E3 footage of inFamous, and it looked way different! It's like the first 2 games both had ideas of what they wanted to look like and be, and then changed the looks of things a whole lot.
I don't see any ballon stealing purple gorillas there though

Yea, I suppose not. Should we be happy or sad that the game was changed?
I don't know, I don't like Animal Crossing… simply because it's so addictive you won't do anyting else after you start playing it >.<

I've never even seen this "Animal Crossing" game before.
It's basically a cartoony Sims game with animals where you build your own town, take care of the towns folk and basically live there.
You may not like it but your brain will not allow you to shut it down once you pick it up for some reason, it's just too adicting.

I doubt I could get into it. I'e been addicted to Runescape, Sims 1 through 3, Minecraft, a couple of rts games, and Roller Coaster Tycoons 1 and 2. I can't play any more of those sorts of games. Every time I go to play the Sims, Roller Coaster Tycoon 3, Minecraft or Skyrim I just drop the controller, step back, and charge at the power chord to whatever machine I'm using!
Now I'm all about games with a clear goal. If there is no main story in which the game is wrapped around I just cant push myself to achieve anything in the game… although I see the appeal of the games, as a former player of them.

We've come so far:
If you think that's impressive, you should compare Mario 1 to 3D World.

I honestly find the evolution of just the 3D era more interresting.

I agree, because it's just so clear that in the earlier darker ages of 3D games you couldn't take any more from that Snake model before it becomes another indistinguishable blob.
Now we have this "photo-realism" thing going one. I mean I rented Ground Zeroes out and played it on the TV in my mum's lounge as she watched. She got pretty into it before it did that transition to gameplay and she realised she'd been watching a game. She pretty much got up and left feeling a great deal of shame.
What the hell do all the people around me IRL have against games? Am I cursed?

It's kinda boring watching other people playing video games, usually if I do it it's because I'll play when he dies or beats the level

Well yea, watching people play games is really boring. But both my parents hate all games as if they were the worst thing in the world, and my brothers hate every single game with the exception of GTA NFS and COD:BO. And all my other friends are either into Pokemon, CoD, Halo, or those MMO RTS/RPG games I forget the actual names and genres of.
So really it's not that everyone around me hates games. It's just that in terms of games I have nothing in common with anyone around me.
It's also bad luck that they all play Nintendo and Xbox games the most, whereas I happen to play mostly PlayStation games (which is because I spent so many years obsessing over Ratchet & Clank, and then when I was ready to branch out I already owned a PS2, PSP and PS3.)
I would have liked to play some more PC games, but because my computer is actually incapable of even running Terraria, serious spec revisions need to happen.

I recently had to explain a 'family-friend' how cutscenes in Uncharted work. Eventually we just watched them and she enjoyed them as a movie. The moment will come that games look like this:
And yes. That is a random photograph.
