Thread: Top 10 Female Chars (Woman's Day)

Most game covers have a stereotype dude on the front and the few games with a woman on the cover didn't 'sell that well'? I mean, Ellie actually had to be put more into the background according to ND's marketing peoplez. Thats why this has always been a point I'm curious about. Who are your favorite female game characters? Do it for woman's day, do it for me. Don't let the topic dissapear ^^

As a warm-up I put mine together

*NPC = Non playable character

Riley, Not Ellie?

I like Riley better, Ellie's just kind of a prick for most of the game.

I'm not a big Ellie fan either… too much swearing, didn't expect her to be like that.

I loved Ellie, she felt like a real kid to me. I knew a lot of people like that when I was her age. The great thing about her is that she felt like a genuine person and didn't easily fall into an archtype like most female characters do. Its just sad in general how hard it was to come up with a Top 10 Females list compared to how much easier it would have been to do a Top 10 Males list. Would love to see more of a balance in the future of games, in terms of quantity AND quality.

Both main characters in their Respective games. Notbad

I assumed the point was basing ranks on personal favorites rather than significance. I like both Samus and Chell plenty but they aren't necessarily my top favorite characters.

Eh, honorable mentions.

But i'd prolly have her on my list:

She lost my respect with her latest game.

Her voice actor wasn't the best choice.. they should have kept J. Hale. Or throw the dialogue out of the window. Though I loved the game itself, prefer the 3rd person 3D Super Metroid of Prime.

And idd, it harder to come up with a top 10 females, something that should change asap

It's just as hard to do a Top 10 men aswell.
If I'm not given a specific role (like Top 10 Female Healers or Top 10 *insert game here* female characters) I'll try to think of everything at once, which results in nothing most of the time.
