Thread: Your GOTY 2014

It seems another year has passed already. So what games are your candidates this year?

My personal favorite:

Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII - February 14
After the horrible story display in XIII-2, this one makes up for all it's flaws with an amazing ending to the trilogy.


There were obvously a few other great additions to gaming:
- Dragon Age: InquisitionA new heroine rises from the ashes to end the Breach.
- Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris. Would have beat Donkey Kong in the arcades.
- Tomb Raider: Definitve Edition. My GOTY 2013 and after all my playthroughs still as good.
- inFamous: First Light. As short as it is powerful.
- The Last of Us: Remastered. Even better than last year.
- The Sly Duology (Vita) - Because playing Sly at home is far too mainstream
- Ratchet & Clank Trilogy (Vita) - I just love Classics HD.


And these still have a chance to kick Lightning of her throne:

Shadow of Mordor

Time sure does fly by, it seems like the new Godzilla movie was just released yesterday.

I played them on PS3, bought the HD collection because no one would shut up about the games.

I got the HD Collection that comes with MGS2, MGS3 and Peace Walker. The Legacy Collection has every single canon MGS game on it.

And I wouldn't really say better, just different.

Did you get MGS1 from the PS store or did you pick up the original on PSX?
