Thread: The ruin a wish thread

I wish for everyone to be happy about the new game, regardless of slight faults.

Oh, they will be happy regardless of how the game turns out…

There is a link in that statement… that'll ruin the wish.

I wish for the game to actually turn out good.

The fact that we keep making wishes about the game turning out good, must imply we are actually worried about the possibilities that it might be bad or unpopular.

Well of course I'm worried about that! Zero advertizing on the movie/game makes me wonder if being a low-budget movie was a bad move…I'll love it either though…

Is no one motivated to ruin the wish? emoji

The game will be so good that R&C will become Sony's mascot and IG will be forced to make a new R&C game every 6 months.

I wish Legend of Spyro didn't exist…

To me it never existed in the first place. I've only played the original trilogy.

I guess lets say the Legend of Spyro trilogy doesn't exist and as a result Spyro goes dormant for years sending people insane in anticipation for another release (kind like Crash right now, but WAY worse). This leads to a very dedicated fan creating the "Next big Spyro", which is everything a new Spyro game should be. Only the publisher (Activision?) wants it taken down, and to never be distributed. This results in a massive outrage from fans of Spyro and good fan-made projects. The whole community that the new Spyro game had built up then targets Activision and causes a massive deal about it. This results in a lot of pressure being put on them to make at least something Spyro-realted to make up for it. Of course they do, and it turns out to be much, much worse than anything that the Legend of Spyro ever could have been, thanks to Activision pressuring a small company with little experience in the industry to create this impossible game.

I wish for every Insomniac Games release of the Ratchet & Clank games (1, 2, 3, Deadlocked, ToD, QfB, A40, Qforce, ACiT, Nexus) to be made to run at 1080p at 60fps with no glitches all into one collection on the PS4, with a trophy set for each game… oh and for the Future Series to be properly merged into a 2-part thing, with QfB acting as a prologue to ACiT.

So what you're saying is, Skylanders would've happened anyway?

All the R&C games have been upgraded to such good quality that everyone at Insomniac Games feels depressed because they will never be able to make such a good game again.

I wish Cronk and Zephyr would star in their own game.

So what you're saying is, Skylanders would've happened anyway?

Bingo! emoji

I wish Cronk and Zephyr would star in their own game.

I do too, that would be neat… time to ruin your wish.

They will be in their own game, called: Cronk and Zephyr: Tools of Destruction. It's basically Tools of Destruction with co-op and from Cronk and Zephyr's perspectives. There will be 4 acts, spaced out with a bunch of fetch quests for Talwyn, difficult and terrible minigames, boring expeditions to old battle grounds to find parts for modifying the bots, and horrible space missions where you fly your ship slowly between destinations. The acts will feature:

1. Using the Apogee Space Station Defence Systems to try and stop Ratchet (like a top-down tower-defense minigame)
2. Battle on Rykan V
3. Battle on Reepor
4. Battle on Fastoon

Oh, and there will be no challenge mode. :oui:

I wish someone would make a R&C fangame.

And the fan game would receive a lot of hype… and then turn out terrible emoji

I wish for a future game which takes place after Nexus, and has Ratchet & Clank using the Dimensionator to explore other dimensions.

They end up trapped in the 10th dimension.

I wish there would be a crossover with Crash Bandicoot.

Crash Bandicoot and Ratchet & Clank have a crossover… and it's a sports game emoji

I wish for interchangable armors to return, as in ITN.

Okay, but none of them are very effective.

I wish you could play as either Ratchet or Clank at any point at all in the game.

Everyone would play as Clank.

I wish that the game would not tell you how to win skill points.
