I don't think Insomniac are running out of ideas at all. When you play the game all will be revealed and you'll probably change your mind. They obviously did this to surprise PS2 Ratchet fans, lots of them really want to see more PS2 stuff in upcoming games, I think they did this well, I think I'll like this Zurgo guy.
I dont think insomniac are running out of ideas eitheir,Qforce looks good but after Qforce I want a proper full length game that will have a sequel
Yes, something like ToD, a totaly new story, another galaxy. We've seen enough of polaris by now. (I believe it has even been in more games than Solana

I think if they did that, they would do it at the end of the game series. But I would like to see more lombaxes in the games somehow.

No. You see Insomniac don't own a piece of Ratchet & Clank. Sony owns the whole thing. Sony make the calls as to weather the series will end or not. But I'd imagine Insomniac do as well. If Insomniac don't want to make more Ratchet games they won't, they are an independent company. But if Sony want more games they will just get someone else to do it.
