Thread: Really Random thread

So.. Nintendo and Sony Pictures might be working on a Mario animation. Not sure how that would work, Mario doesn't speak.

Mario doesn't speak.

"It's me, Mario!"

As in whole sentences. He did a few times but… didn't work out so well. Hint, hint.

I didn't watch the PSX, but my heart has now been shattered!

But I ought to say the [Mario] cartoon series was pretty cool. emoji

You mean that series where each episode was set in a land based around randomly picked objects and the show was filled with a lot of bizarre and inexplicable quirks like a version of Indiana Jones without a face, a countdown clock that had a different time on it than the characters said, and an infinite supply of pasta jokes (Nothing but ****ing pasta jokes!)?

Or was there another Mario animated series that I didn't know about?

@Darkstar
That's the re-release of the Steam version right? I wonder how many fans are mad it's not a fully full remaster.

@LBD
Yep, thats the one. I've got a whole collection of VHS and DVDs. Loved that as a kid.

It's not the fact that it's just a re-release of the Steam version. It's the fact that it was announced at PSX, was hyped up to be such a big release, had you on the edge of your seat waiting for the graphiccs to switch to the updated version and then just ends with the words "Final Fantasy VII or PS4"…
It's like if at E3, Ted Price walked on stage, talked about the new PS4 R&C game and how good looking it was and then it cut to a trailer of another HD remaster of the original game instead of what we really wanted to see (the PS4 remake of the game).

Ah, I see. You expected that they'd switch over to something like, I dunno, Advent Children? I must say I'm kinda surprised they haven't done that. I mean it's nice to have something like a Classics HD version of it, but tons of people are interested in a remake. Remakes seems to be fairly popular nowadays, I myself love seeing some of my favorite games return. Even PS3 ones. So why not?

Speaking about HD remasters, I hope Namco make HD remasters of the PS2 Ace Combat games for either PS3 or PS4 (my PS2 is broken, and I miss playing Ace Combat Zero!)

I would like that too. I prefer playing on my PSP over the PS2. But not all Ace Combat games released on PSP. A Classics HD would have been cool. Have been because it seems too late for more PS2 Classics HD.

Or perhaps Namco should re-imagine the PS2 Ace Combat games for PS4, like IG re-imagining R&C for PS4

Can't say I wouldn't like that. Perhaps even a Vita game. emoji

I just decided to be interested in No Man's Sky. After actually listening to the person that talks about the game, and trying to understand it I have come to the conclusion that: This game will be the best game.

It cought my eye too. It's a pretty ambitious title. Maybe one day I'll get it for PC out of curiosity.

Well if it's coming to PS4… you should try to get that version.

I see no reason why it wouldn't come out on PS4 on disc, it's a seriously large game with heaps of hype… but you absolutely must play with online enabled, it's like journey (which I've never played), in that the online experience will be special.
