The Omnisoaker gets very useful but it's forbidden by citizens on many planets due to the Aridian sea-gate. The galactic police has a device to detect the Omnisoaker in Ratchet's inventory. If it does, Ratchet is thrown in prison and you can continue playing after 5 years.

Moons/small planets now let you jump incredibly high, while larger planets hold your jumps down low, so you might not be able to reach certain ledges.
