I dunno. The first one has a nice Pod Racer feel to it because of the nature of the cliffs. I also like the Bolts that swing around Ratchet. But the night one is a great tribute to the start screen of R&C1.
In the IG Forums there is a lot of squabbling over weather the device on Ratchet's hand is a laser weapon or a swingshot. Personally I think it's a laser weapon, due to the destruction he is blasting through.
Since he's above the ground I assume its a Swingshot. The Bolts are coming from the distance, suggesting that he swung al the way and is going too fast for the Bolts to catch up. Thats what I think at least.
