Thread: E3 2015 Chat Thread

I'm gonna wait a day until E3 has finally come to a close to write a news page on Gaspar's gameplay (plus, Kbabz is going to do an in-depth look at it!)

You woke up when in the afternoon! (Time difference joke).

You're not the only one… I set up an alarm for the Sony conference since it was at 4 am for me, but I was too damn tired to actually wake up. And now I'm here trying to figure out what happened…

I was pleasantly surprised to be able to get up so successfully at 4:00 here for the MS conference. Great show. This is strange because lately I've been sleeping in until about 10:00-12:00.

I assume some of your average wake up time is around 6-7 in the morning.

I just woke up at 13:00, meaning it has been 10 hours since I saw Sony. Time goes faaaast.

"And I'm going to throw my *bleep* at you."

Oh, whoops, it's the Xbox version. emoji

Thank you, I needed that! emoji

Me? As I said, I've been getting up quite late at about 11:00 on avearge. But there once wa a time where I was getting up at 6:00 in the morning. But I don't have to worry about that again for a few weeks.

Some of you woke up far later than my average wake up time! Me, 5 am. Oh, I haven't watched any of the conferences. Felt too lazy to check out.

Usually I need to get up 6:30. But since I took the day off I could catch my sleep. Otherwise I would probably have fallen asleep on my keyboard at work.emoji

Should we get back to topic?

Okay, what are the new stuffs from the conferences?

Done! Watched it! These are the games that caught my attention:

  • The Last Guardian (reminds me of Shadow of the Colossus)
  • Horizon (one of those "future meets past" games, I'd play that)
  • Hitman (the beautiful and bloody world of an assassin…emoji
  • No Man's Sky (now I've realized how much this game is inspired from Spore)
  • Firewatch (seems interesting and fun)
  • Assassin's Creed (when they said "Don't mess with Evie" I involuntarily thought of Cleverbot)
  • Black Ops III (Seriously? You can make people vomit with telekinesis? And everything seems so "wanna be new and original" that it's actually cliched and ridiculous…emoji
  • Uncharted 4 (My reaction: Here we go! Statue, Sully, Nate, City and… Why doesn't he move? Come on! Wait, what? Again? Did it loop? Oh, now the gameplay starts! Great as expected! That car sequence is amazing!)

I'm still confused. No R&C at all?

Speaking of sleeping habits, during school I have to wake up at 7:00, but during weekends and holidays I always get up around 10:00-11:00.

I don't like the idea CoD being set in a futuristic world. I miss the MW trilogy and my very first CoD, Roads to Victory. One memorable moment: encountering the Tiger tank. It takes 5 Panzershreck (sort of German version of Bazooka) shots to destroy it!

There were two games that caught my attention at E3 this year. Neither of them are a surprise for anyone who know anything about me.

There was no Ratchet & Clak on the stage. But it's going to be playable on the show floor. What are they playing? Gaspar I believe.

Metal Gear also didn't show up on stage. But they had some trailers for MGSV!

Oh and Microsoft's HoloLens looked cool too: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xgakdcEzVwg

Am I the only one who can't watch that link KBabz sent? There's nothing there!
